  • IEEE Lithuania Section as Technical Co-Sponsor of XXII International Conference on Electromagnetic Disturbances, held in Vilnius, Lithuania. For details see
  • IEEE Lithuania Section as Technical Co-Sponsor of the 13th Joint Lithuanian-Belarus Workshop “Modern Microwave Devices and Systems”, held in Minsk, Belarus.
  • IEEE Lithuania Section as Technical Co-Sponsor of the 16th Conference for Lithuania Junior Researchers “Science for Future. Electronics and Electrical Engineering”, held in Vilnius, Lithuania.

2. Future activities

  • IEEE Lithuania Section as Technical Co-Sponsor of Joint Lithuanian-Polish Workshop “Bio-Inspired Signal and Image Processing (BISIP)”.
  • IEEE Lithuania Section as Technical Co-Sponsor of the 14th Joint Lithuanian-Belarus workshop “Microwave and Antenna Measurement”.
  • Award the best thesis for Master of Science degree defended at Electronics Faculty of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in 2013.
  • Establishing and co-sponsoring of the 1st Joint Lithuanian-Latvian workshop.
  • Formation of IEEE Lithuania Computer Society or/and IEEE Lithuania Power and Energy Society Chapters.

  • Joint international workshops with China, Taiwan, Morocco, Belarus, Russia and Poland.
  • Co-sponsorship of annual Conference for Lithuania Junior Researchers.
  • Co-sponsorship of annual International Conference “Electronics”.

  • Series of technical meetings presenting frontiers of research in recently defended Doctoral Dissertations.
  • Organization of local and participation in IEEE Region 8 Student Paper Contest.

  • Elucidate IEEE membership benefits mostly prominent for Lithuanian scientists and practitioners.
  • Motivate existing IEEE members in Lithuania to become IEEE senior members.
